Our project managers on-site prepare detailed expenditure reports for every single amount and document the work with photos. Particularly upon the arrival of a container or a large truck delivery, we ensure that a trusted person is always present due to the high value, also to ensure correct processing during the distribution of relief goods. Additionally, the projects are visited by us at intervals to verify needs.

This task is handled by our project managers and their assistants. Through personal distribution directly into the hands of those in need, our project managers ensure that no one enriches themselves illegitimately.

No. Bringing relief goods from Germany to impoverished countries by cargo ship, plane, and/or truck is very complex, time-consuming, and above all, expensive. Practice has shown that it is easier and cheaper to purchase the required items in the country itself or in a neighboring country.

The donation receipt will be sent automatically by post at the end of January of the following year.

A donation seal is a nice symbol, but it is voluntary and expensive. Our state-certified charitable status, regular tax authority audits, and our open information policy are your guarantee: Your help arrives safely and transparently, without deductions for bureaucratic seal fees. Through reports, photos, and videos from our project areas, we show you firsthand what your donation achieves.

Currently, we do not yet support projects in Germany or Europe. But we don't look away: There are also many people in need in Germany. Our goal is to support suitable projects here in the future as well.

Good, trustworthy, and professional business partners are enormously important for our work. With Stadtsparkasse Bad Pyrmont, we have found an outstanding bank that advises and supports us in all financial matters to our complete satisfaction. Our organizational headquarters, of course, remains in Hamburg.

To help people in need, we must inform about our work and win people over to support this work. Our donation letters are therefore an important part of our work and help us inform existing supporters and reach new donors. Of course, we respect your personal wishes. If you would like to receive less or no mail from us, you can contact us at any time.

We want to avoid one child in need receiving more financial support than another. Therefore, we do not offer sponsorships for individual children. You can instead support our work regularly through a standing order. This way, donation funds can be used appropriately and equitably within the projects.

No. HELFENDE HÄNDE is denominationally and politically independent. What unites us is our common goal: to contribute with heart and mind to enabling people to lead peaceful, healthy, and self-determined lives.
