1How is the use of project funds monitored on-site?
Our project managers on-site prepare detailed expenditure reports for every single amount and document the work with photos.
Particularly upon the arrival of a container or a large truck delivery, we ensure that a trusted person is always present due to the high value, also to ensure correct processing during the distribution of relief goods.
Additionally, the projects are visited by us at intervals to verify needs.
2How do you distribute the relief goods to those in need?
This task is handled by our project managers and their assistants.
Through personal distribution directly into the hands of those in need, our project managers ensure that no one enriches themselves illegitimately.
3Can I also support your aid project with a donation of goods?
No. Bringing relief goods from Germany to impoverished countries by cargo ship, plane, and/or truck is very complex, time-consuming, and above all, expensive.
Practice has shown that it is easier and cheaper to purchase the required items in the country itself or in a neighboring country.
4I have made a donation. When and how will I receive my donation receipt?
The donation receipt is sent automatically by mail at the end of January of the following year.
