Flood Disaster at Zana School

Is their path out of poverty at risk – please help!

It is raining non-stop in Zana/Uganda, where our school for poor children is located. The students are in class when suddenly a mudslide sweeps through classrooms and dormitories. Buildings are now damaged, furniture was destroyed, and much has simply been washed away by the flood. Fortunately, no one was injured!

We had to send home hundreds of children who live in the dormitories during the week. However, many of their families live in cramped conditions, with difficult hygiene, irregular meals – and too far away for the children to attend school.

Please help with your Donate so that we can repair the school and offer the children safe sleeping places again. With us, they not only receive regular meals but can also learn for a self-determined future free from poverty – but only if we receive enough support!

The dormitories were flooded. Almost 500 children have lost their sleeping place!
